• Ellesborough Silver Band is based near Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire and meets every Friday night at Butlers Cross Village Hall between 8 and 10 pm.
  • We welcome all players of whatever standard, beginners and returners alike, we especially need trombones, euphoniums and basses at this time.
  • The Band plays at many local events, most recently at the Tring Canal Festival, The National Trust D-Day Commemorations at Ashridge Park and open air Songs of Praise services for local churches.
  • The Band's Historian, Val Horne, says the band was originally formed in Ellesborough in 1896, following Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee, and celebrates almost 110 years of playing next year.
